Requirements differ from one auction house to another, but in general VIN numbers are a must to assure the right vehicle is picked, as well as gate passes and/or buyer number, to get authorization for picking up your vehicle.

BOL (Bill of Lading) is one of the most important documents in the shipping process. A completed BOL legally shows that the carrier has received the vehicle as described and is obligated to deliver it in the exact condition it was picked up.

ETA or Estimated Time of Arrival varies on many aspects, traffic, weather and a drivers E-book may change the ETA drastically, as such 24 hours’ prior notice will be provided along with a 4 and 2 hours’ prior notice before arrival at the designated destination.

Higher and wider vehicles need certain types of carriers to be moved, as well as modified or specifically engineered vehicles require experienced and specialized transporters to assure the safe transportation of the vehicle, which in terms plays a role on the final price and cost of shipment.

It is very important to choose the correct type of transportation for your vehicle. Where open transport may be the cheapest way to have your vehicle moved, it won’t always be the best choice depending on the car in question. It is more expensive as assures safety from the elements, and professionalism at its finest.

Dates are not set from the first day of booking. Tempus Logix is a broker company and doesn’t own trucks. We hire third-party Carrier company for the pickup. The pick-up dates will be estimated after the assignment is made, and updates will be forwarded ASAP.
